I want to begin this post with an apology—I know I’ve been seriously lacking in posts lately. I even toyed with the idea of deleting this blog altogether, as it had started to feel like a responsibility…but then something dawned on me. First of all, I wasn’t enjoying it because I wasn’t being true to myself. I’d been holding back from posting certain things because I worried that it wouldn’t “fit in” with what I normally blog, and then I just sort of stopped posting altogether. But I realized that this is my blog and not a place I should have to worry about what anyone else thinks. So, I made myself a new theme—something lighter and fresher—and I’m committed to posting more often and staying more true to myself. Expect lots of pictures and posts in the future!

Quick update on my life (I feel like even though this is a personal blog, it’s been forever since I’ve really posted anything about my life…): I have been extremely busy with finals coming up next week and last minute college apps (which I finally finished!). I’m now officially done applying to all of my schools. I’ve heard back from 2 but don’t find out about the rest until April, unfortunately. I’ve also been working on my Christmas list and I’m pretty sure what I’m asking for for Christmas—a big leather tote bag/satchel for carrying books, etc. I’m also asking for a few pairs of boots and lots of cardigans. I haven’t started any of my Christmas shopping yet, though…oops. 

Anyway, I also feel like I have had minimal contact with my followers lately! So if you’d like to drop me a message, anonymous or not, I’ll be around.
