One of my Christmas gifts was this little book from my sister, 14,000 Things to be Happy About. I loved it instantly, and especially because I knew most of what I was getting beforehand, it was a nice little surprise. I’m always a little sad the day after Christmas, but overall I had a really relaxing, peaceful day. My grandpa’s 21 year old nephew just moved to Chicago from Ireland, where he was born, and so he spent the holiday with us. Initially I had been a little skeptical—I was worried it would be awkward—but he was so friendly that it wound up being a blast (plus I loved his accent, I wish I had one). More photos to come later…
